This was my first Solarization photo and I did it of my chickens. I thought this picture turned out particularly neat because of how the chicken is walking and how he's bent over as if to be "sneaky." Im happy with the way this solarization picture turned out, I think the contrast is where it should be.

This is my second picture for solarization and I took it of all four of my goats. Although I made a lot of mistakes in this photo, like I think that might be a fixer/developer stain--I didn't redo it because I was content with the way it turned out. I think the lines going  diagonal at the top look sort of like the sun--even though I took this on a very overcast day, right before a storm. So, that mistake turned out "OK". Overall  I was very pleased with my solarization roll.

Roll 4-Polaroid Transfers (goats)

I was happy with both of my polariod transfers but, i like this one because it looks like the goat on the left (Brie) is trying to get Heidi's attention. I also liked how Brie was framed inside the panels and how Heidi was eating hay with her head down.The colors were good too, I really liked how this transfer turned out.

This was my second polaroid transfer, and I was equally satisfied. I lik how there's two buckets in the center, framed by two goats peering to each side, with your attention being drawn to the pink bucket. Im really happy with the way this photo turned out, and the colors look good too!

Roll 3-Layering (field hockey team/flower pot)

I choose this picture for my layering assaignment because I really liked the layers it had in it. The patio steps, the rail, the flower pot, the flowers, and then the grass. I also liked how focused the photograph was. Since the majority of my photos havent been turning out so clear, I thought I did a good job focusing on the subject, which to me is the flowers and the design on  the flower pot.

Although the clarity in this picture isn't that great, I really liked what was going on; the Varsity Field Hockey team getting ready to play a game huddled up, all their back packs and athletic bags strewn  on the side lines, and the coaches to the side talking. As well as the track, the field and then the bleachers, trees, and the sky. This photo had a great idea going on, but I didn't focus very well and thats why the picture isn't very clear.

I like this photo becauyse of the way the heals are laying and how the Steve Madden part is focused.
The film grain stood out as well in the 3200 film. I also thought I did a fairly good job dodging and buring. However, I could have done better on focusing on the entire first shoe cause the jewels are blurry. And, theres also some developer spill on my negative which could have been prevented.

I like this picture because of the subjects and how their placed. I think this picture had a lot of potential to be a really good photograph, especially with the white candle lit in the center. However, this picture wasn't really focused which really takes away from the photo.

I chose this picture to replace my picture I had turned in originally because I didn't receive the grade I had wished for. I like this photo because it's simple, and has fairly good focus. There are definitely things I could have done better, such as continued burning the light in the right hand corner..but i ran out of paper!

I like this picture because, theres a big mistake in the picture but it is actually something I like. It looks like I used 3200 film -for film grain. But, I guess I just messed up on my focusing or something. Cause it doesn't have the composition of a regular photograph using 400 film.

Morris in the Snow

Heart-dramatic lighting

Maggie and I made a heart by the window with the light coming in to get dramatic lighting. Not a great picture, but you get the point. To develop this photo my apperture was 5.6 and my exposure was 3.
